Why so few members?

I did try register at work but my clever IT bods barr such actions. This is the first opportunity I have had at home. So I look forward to catching up with all the topics and if there is anything the NVA can take forward we will do so.
a quick glance tells me there is a lot of rubbish being spoken about. Please read that carefully.
I too have my reservations about the new systems. Having a daughter employed as environmental/waste/recycling manager with a council in Englandshire, I have heard all the moans and groans from both sides of the house. Not least having spent 3 years at Uni to end up delivering wheelie bins, for not just one but 2 councils. Timing of a job move to a different authority was not the best!!!

The specific reason that I was using the "text only" index for folk with sight difficulties is self explanatory surely...:?:
Anyway to access the url for here meant disabling my system security and installing java runtime for firefox, otherwise the site menu is not available.
I didnt want to have to do this to read a vilage website, especially when a reply to my email would have given me the url...
Anyway, Im here now, so all's well etc...

The URL which you posted is the TEXT only index for folk with sight difficulties. The correct URL is http://www.newtonhill.org.uk/phpbb/ or use the left side menu on the STANDARD WEBSITE for Message Board

So why is it that when I clicked the url for the old forum it did take me to the old forum?

I thought I would see what the forum looked/operated like before registering - which is what I have just done... as seems great to me! 8)
