Why all the recycling bins today?

Why are there recycling boxes and white bags all over St Michael's road *today* when our box says quite clearly that collections will start on Friday 23rd December. Either people don't know what day it is, they don't trust the council to turn up tomorrow and think they will sneakily turn up a day early OR our box says a different day to everyone else's!

Really? So neighbours at the other side of the street approx 2 doors down get theirs collected on a thursday? Funny how the bin men collected them on friday!
The answer is quite simple...
Whilst your recycling box was collected on Friday 23rd, as indicated "quite clearly" on the side, others' boxes were collected on Thursday 22nd as indicated, presumably, just as clearly on theirs.
