Newtonhill Primary School

Newtonhill Primary School serves the coastal villages of Newtonhill and Muchalls and the surrounding rural area from Cammachmore in the north through Cookney in the west, to the Bridge of Muchalls in the south.

At present there are approximately 350 children attending school.
There are 4 nursery classes, which can provide places for up to 80 children.

The School has a Special Education Need (S.E.N.) base with 11 children who are included in mainstream classes with support from specialist teaching staff.

On completing their primary education, pupils from Newtonhill transfer to Portlethen Academy.

The school has a very supportive School board and successful PTA.
