Newtonhill & District Village Association

The community council is made up of 12 elected members (seven representing Newtonhill (N), three from Muchalls (M), and two from Cammachmore (C) and meets on the third Wednesday of every month (except July and December). The agenda and minutes are posted on the noticeboards in Newtonhill (beside the Morning Noon and Night shop), in Muchalls, and Cammachmore. The council works closely with the village associations in Muchalls and Newtonhill.

It aims to represent the views of residents to the local authority, national government, and other official bodies, as set down in the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.
