Centre Stage is a local amateur dramatics group who put on a Christmas pantomime every year at the Bettridge Centre. Last year (2011) we did Beauty and The Beast, which was a great success and the preparations for this year’s pantomime are already well underway. Our first rehearsal will take place in the Bettridge Centre this Monday 20 August at 8pm and we’d love to welcome along any new members who would like to join in the fun. You don’t have to have previous experience. The majority of our group had never been on a stage before joining Centre Stage. You just need bring your enthusiasm. Or if the stage isn’t for you and you fancy helping back stage, you’d also be very welcome. Especially if you have a skill such as joinery, painting, sewing skills etc. Don’t worry if you don’t, though, there are always plenty of jobs to do and you’d still be made very welcome.

For all the rest of you, thank you for supporting us by coming along to see us every year. We love seeing you all and we hope you love the show as much as we enjoy putting it on for you.

Dates for you diary: Shows for this year will run on evenings of 6-8 December 2012 with a matinee also being shown on 8 December 2012.
