Aberdeen Astronomical Society - Public Event, 28/3/08


All, Aberdeen Astronomical Society will be holding a public event in the Bettridge Centre on 28th March 2009.

This year is International Year of Astronomy, and as such, AAS will be endeavouring to involve as many people in public events as possible.

The even will run from 7.30 to 9.30pm in the main hall and outdoors, weather permitting.

The evening will include:
Cosmic Dome Planetarium
Highlights of Astronomy Talk
Star gazing with telescopes/binoculars if skies are clear

No booking required, but if you are intending on bring along a group of Brownies, Scouts etc, then please let us know.

They're both on the same night just different parts of the centre :-).
In fact, its a busy day all round cos the Village Litter Pick (9.30am Bettridge Centre car park, we'll be there!) and the Church Easter Fair are also both the 28th!

Can someone please clarify what date this event is happening on as both the star gazing and Mamma Mia are advertised for Saturday 28 March.
