Hi,
just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone who helped out when my mum had a fall in the Bettridge Centre car park on Sunday :-)). Thank you to Margaret, Eileen, Joy, Susan and a few others whose names I don't know (the young lass there too), for helping and also thanks to those who later took the time to phone and visit to see how she was.
And a special thank you to Nick Gammack who was working at the Centre that night and was an absolute star - he helped take control of things so I could nip my squealing child home, sorted out a chair, blankets, her glasses, the ambulance and had started the first aid by the time I got back! My mum was ever so grateful for the strength of his steady hand and just hopes she didn't hurt it as she said she was gripping it very tightly :-)). I only hope my wild wee lad grows up to be such a fine, calm, controlled and organised young man!

All was well after a few hours at casualty although she's nae going to look that bonny for a few days. I've always said that we are lucky to live in such a friendly, helpful and caring village - and have been proved right again by everyone who was there for my mum on Sunday. Thank you all again
