Guides Open night

Hi there,

This is probably not the best place to post this but I am trying to get the message as far and wide as possible. The numbers in our Guide unit are dwindling away and at the moment there are only 9 girls.
So we are about to start actively recruiting girls to join the unit before its too late and we disappear forever.

Girls between the ages of 10 - 14 can join and you don't have to have been a Brownie or a Rainbow before to do so.

Good new Shona, hope that your new venue and new members bring even more girls into the fold after the holidays. Glad the website was used and hopefully added to the improvement and retaining your group in some small way.

We have managed to get 3 new Guides and hopefully we will have more starting after the summer holidays!

We are also moving location, we are moving to the Skateraw Hall after the holidays, so hopefully the new location will bring a new lease of life to the Unit and bring in even more Girls.

Thanks to everyone who helped to promote the night it really was a big success for us.

Guides Open Night - Tomorrow!!!

Yes, I hope so too, I'm afraid my daughter is just a wee bit too young at the moment and I would hate for there to be no guides when she is old enough,

Hope you get lots of new members Shona - would be horrible to see it close so soon after the Playgroup closed, especially as both groups have been in the village for so long.

Open Night at Guides

We have now decided when we are having an open night. It will be on the 4th June between 7.30-9pm at Newtonhill Primary School. All 10-14 year old girls are welcome to come along and find out what it is all about. If you have any questions just get in touch.
