Tesco update

Have it on good authority that the recession has bitten Tesco too. All new build projects are on hold at present so Newtonhill won't get its new store just yet.

Maybe they only had a set amount of forms?? Knowing my luck, I will have completed the questionnaire wrongly so you may have a chance soon enough!!

I hope you told her that it was doing fine- and that those of us with wizard powers were very impressed with the quality of its invisibility cloak :-)).
Good luck y'all with the jobs, looking forward to pottering around a shop where I don't have to worry about falling over excessive piles of boxes!

Wellert, you must be in with a better chance than me because the woman said that she would take my details and that Tesco would be in touch in due course but that they needed 100+ staff and not to worry if I didn't hear anything for a while. Then she asked me how the building was coming along!!

Hi

I was over at the Bourtree Hall in Portlethen during the week and noticed that there were signs up advertising job vacancies for the new Tesco in Newtonhill. It doesnt say much other than a name and a number to call. I never took note of the details but I'm over at the Bourtree Hall again this week so can take a note of the number then for anyone who might be interested in a job at the new store.

"Sources close to Tesco confirm the current economic circumstances are not affecting the development programme and that the development at
Newtonhill will be proceeding in the late summmer/autumn of this year."
