The Perseides are on tonight, so Aberdeen Astro Soc are meeting in the Coastal Park (back of Bettridge Centre) to watch them from 9.30pm onwards.

Anyone is more than welcome to join us, although minors must be accompanied. If you want to do your own thing, then find a spot away from too many streetlights and look out to sea. At its peak you could see a meteor every 45 seconds!

Don't forget to bring:
Warm clothes
Sunlounger to sit on
Snack/drink
Sense of humour when the clouds roll in
